“We are what we eat. Our diet affects our behavior”

Nur Garriga

The Ayurvedic approach to healing mental distress starts with the mind-body connection and our diet. It takes into consideration our body types, as well as the combination among them, which are classified in three doshas (vata, pitta, and kapha) and represent the five material elements (ether, air, fire, water, and earth). Each dosha follows the features of its corresponding elements and has disease or behavior tendencies to match. Each of us counts on a combination of doshas, but some will be more dominant than others.

By knowing our body type, we can improve our diet to tackle behaviors and toxic thoughts. We also use Ayurvedic breathing and yoga to change our lifestyle first and to practice regularly later on.

Spruce tips are delicious and highly nutritious!!
